The TAS, from SRS EcoTherm GmbH, is a modern waste incineration plant. Up to 120,000 tonnes of waste can be incinerated here per annum. This means that the TAS provides disposal security for around 300,000 people in the rural district of Emsland.

SRS EcoTherm GmbH has assumed the tasks of thermal waste treatment for the rural district of Emsland and energy supply for H&R Chemisch-pharmazeutische Spezialitäten GmbH at the Salzbergen location.
